Natalie was raised in the small rural town of Ferndale, Washington before heading east to Washington State University (Go Cougs!) There she met her future husband, Marcus, a Yakima native and West Valley Schools graduate who attended Summitview Elementary, West Valley Middle School and West Valley High School. After graduate school, they moved back to Yakima to raise their family in his hometown.
Their three girls (Zara, Alexandra and Ariana) all attend West Valley Schools. They spent their elementary school years at Apple Valley where Natalie was in the PTA and chaired the Spelling Bee, James Jogathon, Staff Appreciation and Field Day events. Natalie was a weekly classroom volunteer for many years, helping with math, reading and art. This year, Ariana is in sixth grade at West Valley Middle School and Zara and Alexandra are in tenth grade at West Valley High School.
In addition to being a mom, Natalie works part-time in healthcare planning and strategy for Providence Health. As a Senior Strategy and Planning Consultant, she is responsible for managing large capital projects and acquisitions, financial modeling, multi-disciplinary team oversight and strategy development.
In their free time, Natalie and her family enjoy skiing at White Pass, hiking in Cowiche Canyon, gardening and exploring national parks.
